Ducted Cool-Shield Kit (2002-07 Subaru WRX / 2004 STI)
These Ducted Cool-Shields take the standard Cool-Shields a step further by integrating a 2.5” diameter brake duct tube for maximum cooling.
The CLN Racing Cool-Shield kit provides heat shields for your outer tie-rod end and lower ball joint boots. More importantly they expose the inboard face of the brake rotors to cool air and provide the inside of the brake rotor hat to access more cool air to draw through the cooling vanes. Simply by removing and replacing your factory splash shields with Cool-Shields you get the best of both worlds.
Also included in the kit as an added safety precaution is heat wrap for your wheel speed sensor wiring. Constructed from 6061 Aluminum and TIG welded, the Cool-Shields are extremely durable. Lifetime warranty for normal use.
Note: There are several part numbers for Subaru front knuckles. These are for 5X100 wheel bolt pattern GD style front knuckles.
